Message from Fr Trevor Marshall

Dear Brothers and Sister in Christ,

I have been asked by Bishop Martin if I would consider a move to St Nicholas in Middleton-on-Sea. After much prayerful consideration, I have discerned that this is what I am being called to as my continuing path of priestly ministry.

I have really enjoyed my time at Tangmere and Oving. However, I feel that St Nicholas is the next phase on my ministerial journey. I am convinced that both Tangmere and Oving are in a good position to move forward with the support of everyone working together, as we have been for the past 5 years.

Sunday 26th May will be my last service at St Andrew’s in Oving. Undoubtably, there will be more news about the future of the parishes of Tangmere and Oving in due course and this will be shared with you as soon as it is available.

I thank you for the support that has been given to me during my time here and particularly the Churchwardens and PCCs of both parishes.

Yours in Christ,

Revd Trevor Marshall
